Spay, Neuter, and More oh my!

Spay and Neuter

A spay is removing the reproductive organs in a female animal and a neuter is removing the male reproductive organ, the testicles. Price is based on weight, a non-refundable deposit of $35 is required to hold a surgery appointment, the deposit will go towards the final cost of surgery. Puppies and kittens MUST be at least 4 months old. Animals over 5yrs old, and giant breeds over 4yrs, must have pre op blood work. DROP OFF is between 7:30-8:30am REGARDLESS of time booked.

Mature Spay

For female dogs that are over 50lbs and 4 years of age and over. Pricing will be higher due to age and their many heat cycles that they have had. The tissues become weak and stretched, therefore more time and extra care is taken to ensure proper procedure and healing.

Cost depends on size of Animal. A Dog is in heat for 6-8 Weeks. They bleed for about 2 weeks and then are still swollen (to have a soft place for babies) for another 4-6 weeks. 


Cats can ovulate at will, and stay swollen for a time after bleeding.

Cryptorchid Male

additional $75-150

Cryptorchidism is when one or both testicles fail to descend into the scrotum by about 8 weeks of age, remaining in the abdomen or groin. The undescended testicle has a significantly higher risk of developing cancer or testicular torsion (twisting), requiring surgical removal for treatment. 

Dental

Start at $165

Price is for basic scaling and polishing, if any extractions are needed, it is $15-$55 per tooth extracted dependent on what is needed to removed the unhealthy tooth.

Brachycephalic Animals

additional $70

Animals that are short-headed, flat-faced breeds like Bulldogs, Pugs, Frenchies, and Persians known for their endearing "pushed-in" features are prone to serious health issues, especially breathing problems due to narrowed airways, often requiring special care, and monitoring. These animals will receive a IV Catheter and IV Fluids during surgery as well as a Vet Tech to monitor them during their entire surgery and recovery. 


Vaccines

Vaccines are Walk-in only as a first come first serve. A Veterinarian MUST be on premises to administer any Rabies Vaccine. Rabies is given between 9am - 1pm.

Blood Work

The blood chemistry profile provides a snapshot of your dog's health by evaluating organ function, electrolyte balance, and blood sugar levels. Abnormalities detected through this test may indicate problems with the liver, kidneys, or endocrine system. The Complete Blood Count, or CBC, shows a veterinarian your dog's hydration status, anemia, infection, blood clotting ability and immune system response.

Geriatric Wellness

For animals over the age of 9yrs, and giant dog breeds over 7yrs, includes urinalysis and fecal float at no extra charge when fresh urine and poop are brought in.


Tests 17 Chemistries with a SDMA (extra kidney value), electrolytes, CBC, T4

Young Wellness

For animals under the age of 9 yrs old, and giant dog breeds under 7yrs. Includes Urinalysis and Fecal Float at no charge when fresh urine and poop are brought in.

In-house Blood work

In-house blood work can be done the same  day as the appointment. Required for animals over the age of 5yrs.

Basic Pre-OP Blood work

Blood work to be sent out. Must be done prior to appointment. Required for animals over the age of 5yrs.

Heartworm Test

For dogs over 6 months old, need to have a negative test in order to get a prescription for heartworm prevention

Feline Combo Test
